Danielle’s Family at Balboa Park

I first met Danielle in Key West and she hired me to photograph her whole family while they were visiting with her new niece. We quickly became close friends and then out of pure luck, Danielle and her husband got stationed in San Diego! So when her family came to visit this summer we had to continue the tradition of taking extended family portraits together.

Fun Fact:

Bougainvillea’s are one of my top favorite bushes/trees ever (As you can see I have them as the background in my main headshot photo). It’s rare to find this deep purple color and we randomly came across this while walking through Balboa Park. It made for the most beautiful background!! Even dad and grandpa wanted a photo in front of it with their daughter/granddaughter.

There are so many options for photo locations in San Diego. Danielle looked through my top favorite photo spots and chose Balboa Park to take extended family photos. It is such a fun park to explore for photos!

Meet Suki and Korra

Should you include your family pet in photos? YES! YES! YES! I am all about including pets in your photo session, because we all know they are part of the FAMILY. Suki and Korra have been best friends with my dogs, Fuji and Kaya, since Key West so I have a soft spot for them. To make sure we could get some couple photos with Suki and Korra we brought my husband along to hold onto the dogs in between full extended family photos. They were pretty stoked to see Travis and be out in Balboa Park.
