Family: Tote at Sweetwater River Bridge

Sweetwater River Bridge has been on my location list since I moved here last year. It is a very popular spot for family photos and is usually packed with people! I was super excited when this family picked this location so we could explore.all the beautiful spots for photos and extra bonus, the place was completely empty!

I first photographed this family for their homecoming a week ago. We scheduled back to back sessions so they family could get some updated photos while their dad still had his awesome beard he got to grow on deployment. If you know anyone in the military, you know it’s a rare sight to see the men with facial hair (besides those wonderful mustaches we all hate and love!).

This location offered the infamous bridge photo, gorgeous fields and paths as well as a huge tree to take photos in. One thing I really LOVE about this family is their connection with their kids. So I made sure to get individual photos of mom and dad with each kid. Their daughter is definitely a daddy’s girl - can you tell from the photos? I also love how mom has a tattoo for each of her children. I made sure to get a photo of her youngest with the fabulous tattoo on her forearm.

It was such a lovely evening getting to know this family more and capturing their love for each other. I seriously walked away wanting to be their best friends! The great news is they live in my neighborhood so hopefully I will get to see more of them often.
