Maternity: Kim at Breckenridge, CO

Our good friends are expecting their first baby in 2022 and I am so freaking excited for them. During a family trip to Breckenridge, CO we made sure to sneak some time in with our friends and did a short walk through the snow to get these magical maternity portraits.

DOGS ARE YOUR FAMILY I am all about dogs being included in family photos and after a few photos with them, my handy dandy assistant (aka my awesome husband) took over dog duty so we could get some more intimate portraits of just Kim and Hunter.

If you have been following my work for the past 15 years, you know I have almost always lived by the beach and all my sessions tend to take place in the sand with blue water so it was quite fun to switch things up a bit and get out in the trees and snow.

Kim was gifted some classic fur pieces from her grandmother so we made sure to incorporate in this piece in some of the photos. Extra bonus - it kept her warm walking from location to location.

A VARIETY OF PHOTOS IS A MUST!

I make sure to get a mix of photos during our session. I take portraits of you alone and then mix in family members while we walk around the different locations. This gives you a lot of different looks for your final selection during the photo reveal.

After the red dress session, Kim and I went back out in the snow to take more photos in a white dress that showed off her belly. We both loved the look of the aspens in the snow - it made for a perfect location for these winter wonderland portraits.

My stars you are talented. We are so not photogenic but you captured the BEST pics!!!! Hahaha. Thank you so much for these amazing pics!!!
