A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Thank you so much for viewing my photography portfolio. Photography is my first love and deepest passion. I have been a professional photographer for over eleven years now (wow! where does the time go?!?). I would love to be considered as your go to photographer for any of your photo needs. Below is a little bit more about me and thanks again for stopping by.

I grew up outside Washington, D.C and once I graduated high school I moved to Santa Barbara, CA. Here I attended Brooks Institute of Photography where I spent the first year learning film (yes, film!) and then digital for the last two years. I graduated with a BA in photography and digital imaging. After college I moved to Los Angeles to work with the world-renowned photographer, Douglas Kirkland. I spent eight years as his studio manager, assisting him on photo sessions and working out of his home in the Hollywood Hills. It was such an incredible experience and I consider him, as well as his beautiful wife, Francoise to be family. I also freelanced on my own, taking portraits as well as real estate and product photographs for various clients. I probably would have stayed in L.A. forever, but I got married to the love of my life and moved to Japan.

In 2015 I married a Navy pilot. I was friends with him for seven years before we decided to date. We dated for a few months, got engaged, married and I moved to Japan where I continued my photography career there. Japan was an incredible adventure and kept my gypsy, travel soul very happy! We are now stationed in Key West, FL where I am continuing to do what I love most, capturing moments and making new memories through Photography.

Please feel free to message or call me with any questions and I look forward to capturing your story soon.
