Senior: Chloe at Fort Monroe, VA

Wow! Fort Monroe is such a COOL place for photo sessions. I come back to VA every once in a while to visit my family and Travis’ family, but since I don’t live there, I don’t know anything about the best locations to take photos at. I am so happy that Chloe and her mom knew about this old historic fort! After our senior session there I couldn’t think of a better place to take portraits. Chloe and I had so much fun exploring and walking around the fort to get as many different photos as possible. She really rocked this session with her confidence and posing ideas! We also did quite a few outfit changes as all of Chloe’s outfits were so cute. We ended our portrait session on the beach where mother nature gifted us with some pretty pink skies.

It was also super nice to catch up with Chloe’s mom, Janey, during our session. Janey was my babysitter when I was a kid. Yes, do the math on that one - I officially feel super old! I love that Janey use to babysit us three girls and now has three girls of her own. I took her oldest daughter’s senior photo two years ago, Chloe’s this year and hopefully I can make my way back to VA to photograph her youngest daughter’s senior portraits too!
